A drifting wannabe with a stammer
Having been shown examples of how to live well with Christian faith it is not surprising that eventually I was interested enough to contact a priest at Raf Yatesbury and was received into the church while stationed there. In fact my life went through an almost complete change while in the RAF. All the while still hunting for Miss Wright who I was not to meet for a few more years. I was determined that I would not get involved with anyone who did not believe, I knew that that could only generate problems.
so my life went through another big change. I entered Saint Marys College, Strawberry Hill, Twickenham on a teacher training course. The intake after us was when they allowed women in. !!!
I think they two biggest mistakes this country has made has been to get rid of national service and the introduction of mixed education.
