Dancing with Dolly
I enjoy music rhythm and dancing and before lockdown I got fed up of being on my own and joined the “Let’s Dance studio” in Carlisle. Our front room was reasonably big but not quite big enough to practice dancing so I took to dancing on pavements and car parks with Dolly my walking stick. Eventually I got special permission to go into the Waterton hall to practice dancing on my own which is where I recorded the first part of this video. I was trying to find a partner who would train with me with the object of going to the Tower at Blackpool. I even put this video on Facebook hoping to find a lady to dance with me. It did not quite work out.
Later I merged the video with some audio of Frank Sinatra singing I won’t dance and this has become one of my favourite home-made videos.
