A fascinating subject for the imagination. Before we get serious on this one I cant resist mentioning “The Outlander” written by Diana Gabaldon

This book has it all. Romance, adventure, heroism, brutality, history. Clair gets suddenly transported back and forth over 300 years to the Jacobite rebellion. Exciting stuff. Film and TV series were good but the book is much better and the talking book from Audible is superbly read in a beautiful ladies scottish accent. Do NOT start on volume 2 !!
