Creation out of joy

The laws of thermodynamics say physical energy naturally tends to diffuse itself.  The law of goodness is also naturally diffusive of itself and the creative energy is visible in both. God created the world not out of reasons or necessity or practicality but out of sheer joy. 

It is all gloriously superfluous like a gargoyle 

Every great human artist too creates not out of necessity but out of the Joy of superfluity . There is joy in creation and in giving of yourself.

This joy will be ours in abundance in our “New Earth”

after the Resurrection to our transformed bodies.
